San Bruno, Calif. (NewsTechno) – Great news for YouTube users! Google Video is expanding its YouTube mobile service to include almost all of the videos available on the website. While the service was available since 2006, only a limited number of videos were accessible from a cell phones and other mobile devices.
Starting from this Thursday, people equipped with “smart” mobile devices will be able to view tens of millions of YouTube videos.
According to YouTube, more than 100 millions mobile devices worldwide already have a streaming capability and a 3G operator, 2 requirements for running the “YouTube for Mobile” program. However, the program will work on Sony Ericsson and Nokia models only, but this preliminary list should be expanded to include other major mobile devices manufacturers in the near future.
